By accessing and using HostelFlow, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. These terms apply to all users of the platform, including but not limited to browsers, customers, merchants, vendors, and contributors of content.

HostelFlow provides a comprehensive hostel management and booking platform that serves multiple user types including tenants, staff, hostel administrators, and app administrators. Our services include hostel search and discovery, role-based access management, payment processing, complaint management, staff assignment, cleaning schedules, and real-time notifications. We provide both web and mobile applications with encrypted data storage, JWT-based authentication, and role-based access control. We act as a platform provider and are not responsible for the actual accommodation or services provided by hostel operators.

Users must provide accurate and complete information when creating accounts and maintain their assigned roles (tenant, staff, hostel admin, or app admin). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, JWT tokens, and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with your assigned role permissions. Role-based access is strictly enforced, and any attempt to access unauthorized features or data may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the hostel provider. Prices displayed include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment must be completed through our secure payment system with encrypted transaction processing. All payment data is encrypted and stored securely. Cancellation and refund policies vary by hostel and are clearly displayed during the booking process. HostelFlow may charge service fees which will be clearly disclosed before payment confirmation. Payment history is maintained for 7 years for legal compliance.

Users are prohibited from using the platform for any unlawful purposes, posting false or misleading information, attempting to circumvent our security measures or role-based access controls, accessing data outside their assigned permissions, attempting to decrypt or reverse-engineer encrypted data, harassing other users or staff, engaging in fraudulent activities, sharing JWT tokens or authentication credentials, or violating any applicable laws or regulations. Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

HostelFlow acts as a platform connecting users with accommodation providers. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of hostels listed on our platform. Our liability is limited to the service fees paid to us. We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by hostel operators and recommend users verify important details directly with the accommodation provider.
